Thanks.... all good stuff. Raybo I wish that was it. 1" solid back is about 500-750 depending on the supplier per 20' (316).
Also, I am not going to weld. Just butt joints.
Any leads on tuna door hinges....

Questions
I have a few questions for my rebuild. Is 316 stainless on the rub rail that much better for the cost than 304? Price difference is over a grand to do the boat. 30' Ray Hunt Chris Craft which uses just a 1" half round no plastic backer. Anyone know of a good place to get HD tuna door hinges in Stain...

Spencer, We sent our boat to Golfito, CR via dockwise. Most boats go that way to Panama get dropped off by dockwise in Golfito and then run down. Would have to leave your tailor behind on that one. It is a float on. Dockwise is also called yachtpath and leave from Port Everglades. If you do it let m...

The L&H is actually a Ray Hunt designed boat. It is the Chris Craft 30 Tournament hull that they stretched to make the mold. I am currently building my own boat in a similar fashion. Tony here has checked it out several times. Interesting note, Jannice was an assistant under Hunt when he did the Chr...

I would paint it! If you want fuel eff. and speed and don't keep the boat in the water try VC Offshore or the other VC from interlux. I used VC Offshore and loved it. Just be sure when pulling a boat with straps on a lift to tie the straps so they can't slip apart. It is slick stuff! More than one b...
