Roosterfishing in Costa Rica

Just got back from fishing on our boats in Golfito and Puerto Jimenez, Costa Rica and the Roosterfishing was excellent. Fish up to 50 lbs. only a mile from our new location in Puerto Jimenez. We will be fishing both locations now! I posted some pics on another site if you want to check them out. Hap...

Core material

Any body ever work with Penske board? Any thoughts on the quality versus Corecell or Dyvinicel? Looking to make some bulkheads and floors, decks with the stuff. Finally turned the corner on the boat and putting it back together.

Thanks Greg

I know a lot of commercial boats up here use custom blocks, they make to fit there bilge from concrete. That way if they need to lose the weight for some reason, to many fish or some emergancy you can just toss it over. I guess yo can do it with lead but just hope no one is watching.

Hang in there! First, there are two yards in out area that do a great job on these and other older boats. Carver's in Pt. Pleasant and Holtz in Marmora. I would go to Carver's because it is your way. I currently have a Ray Hunt Chris Craft at Holtz( same hull as the L&H 33) that I am restoring. I ge...

I am doing a repower too. And, look in to them. I think they aren't worth it yet. I would rather go with the remans. or running take outs. They have proved themselves for over 30 yrs. The new ones are quiter, quicker, less smoke, etc. But they are also unproven in the salt over the years. I believe ...
