What is the best way to glass in the exhaust tubes to the transom? I was thinking epoxy with some 1708 tabbing and then epoxy with a heavy duty filler as a final filet. Thanks.

I can't speak for what tackle they were using but we have been getting most of our sails on 16 and 20 lbs and everything is already bait and switch. we are still posting 20-50 fish a day. Although the bite slowed a little. Trust me I would still like to post those numbers(70+)But, if it was my day a...

How many fish is enough.
We have had some incredible fishing in southern Costa Rica and northern Panama in the last month with sails landed anywhere from 20-50 and up to 5 shots at marlin a day. But, an aquantance on a private boat just had an insane day. They landed 72 sails. I give him credit for doing it but I have to be...

Hi Tony, Not sure yet. I will try to let you know. Talked to the wife about it but still waiting for a response. Walter, I have had the pleasure to get both the Atlantic and Pacific sails. Great time everyone should try it. I just got to lazy this trip. Spent most of the time running the boat so our...

Thanks Walter. I brought my flyrod but never took it out of the case this time. We did get most (90%) of the 30 plus sails for the week on 16 and 20lb test. One was on 12 but it was a big fish and got to tried. She made it but it took along time to revive her. So, I stopped that. Not there to hurt t...

I am making up my cockpit floor out of 3/4 Penske board. Am I OK with 3 layers 1808 biaxle (Curve is 1/4" per foot) on the underside or do I still need some roving? I was planning on one layer of 1808 on top with a layer of mat is that OK? Thanks. Happy Holidays!

Hi Tony, How is everything haven't seen you in a couple of weeks? Pirates Cove Grander
A 1228.5 blue was weighted in today at the Pirates Cove tourney. What a beast. A lot of big blues this year. A friend from Bermuda (James Robinson) had a 1050 last month ( it died on the line, this was his second grander, the other was released), and Hawaii has had some great big blue marlin fishing...

I am in the middle of a repower and looking at trannies, I have a pair of Cummins 300 btas/ I always thought to use a pair of 220a's but a friend mentioned that the 63a's will work just fine and are quite a bit cheaper. Any thoughts?
Thanks Greg
