Getting ready to replace my steering wheel on my 31 FBC. Any suggestions on make model/size? I'm looking at the new edson dual spoke but not sure if a 14.5" or a 16" would look/operate best. Any suggestions?

I change my impellers every spring...it's cheap insurance

I don't mean to offend anyone here but I can't see this as any type of long lasting solution...the fasteners which hold the rub rail are stainless. Isolating the stainless rub rail trim alone will not fix the problem. Best to just replace it.

Sounds good...my last charter is sometime in early October so I'll bring it back to the Severn River soon after that and probably show up at Kentmore by Nov1. You'll have to check out the woodwork I did last spring. Talk to you soon.

It depends upon the top coat. Use the recommended primer for the manufacturer of the top coat, especially if it's awlgrip or emron

Do you mean a bottle jack? Where do I place the jack on the engine to press it up? Is there a good place which will carry the load?

Does anyone out there know the hose (ID) size for a 1981 31 bertram shaft log??? It appears to be original and I need to replace it but I can't get to the boat to measure it. What type of hose is this??? Thanks

I need to replace mey engine mounts on my 31 Bertram powered with cummins 6B5.9s. Any advice on how to jack up the engines to remove/replace them???
