Where do you recommend locating the manual release cable for the Fireboy system? The manual suggests minimizing the number of bends in the cable which would seem to rule out the flying bridge or even the lower helm.

Any suggestions on how to repair leaks in the window frames? From the location of the wet spot on the paper towel which I taped to the bulkhead in the picture below, it looks like the water entering the cabin at the corner of the frame.

The method that I usually use on my cars is to make a lengthwise cut at each end but the reinforcing wires make this difficult. Any other ideas on how to remove the hose from the nipple on the strainer and the seacock?

How are the cabinets fastened to the cabin sole and the bulkheads? The formica on mine is in pretty decent shape but I need to replace a section of the cabin sole underneath the forward corner and the seat for the lower helm. I don't see any way to do this without removing the cabinets.
