Good luck with the rebuild she looks to be a great boat to start with. A lot of work already done some elbow grease should cleanup nice then make a punch list and get started. Keep the pictures coming we all like pictures.

3/4in on everything the stringers for the deck are 2 pieces of 3/4 in with 17/08 on both sides.

JJ my top end was 38 knots I cruise at 2400 rpm and I am 29 to 30 knots.

I changed my shaft angle and moved my engines back and down as far as possible. I was able to get 11.5 degrees. The boat rides great cruise 30 knots. I run a 21x24 four blade Michigan hytorq with a light cup. What I’ve seen before with over powered boats is they push the bow down to far and the boat...

Haha!! Carl I learned from an old engineer on commercial boats to put my sandwich wrapped in tin foil on the engine always worked well. It is getting cold for me I don’t have an enclosure yet.but I have a little buddy heater if I need to thaw out my hands lol! Or the boys can warm up.my boat hauler ...

Any hydraulic shop should be able to help you. I went with continental blue with push on fittings. Worked great cut and made all mine right on the boat I will look for a link somewhere.

Carl I thought I would see you out there I have been sneaking out after work as well. Fishing has been pretty good. I might just pull the boat soon as well I did have a Great season but I have stuff to get to work on. Put 90 hours on her this season ran flawlessly.

I put a cam lock fitting right into the tank and I measure with a tape measure. I fill right through the deck. I will take a picture.

No fuel burn readings on the gauges I just stick the tank. The fill is straight down in the deck got it figured to like 10 gallons an in. That was running out like 25 knots and running home at 29.

I think I got them from Donovan marine but I know west marine has them also. I don’t recall the measurements but I know I had to cut the starboard side down on the up side no problem I just sanded smooth. I can grab a measurement for you when I go to the boat later.

Pete I went 150 mile round trip moved around for drifts and changed locations and pot hopped on the way home I burned close to 120gal. At least that’s what I am thinking by the numbers I didn’t top it off yet.

David I think you will be just fine with those engines and if in the future you want to change them the newer ones will bolt right up as far as I know they are the same layout.
