Tony yes a cut off wheel worked best then sanded with a long block to get it closer. They used to do installs I just opted to do it myself.

Tony I got mine from Atlantic towers I had to cut mine down as well it wasn’t to bad of a job and all in all for the money I think it’s a pretty good product.

Tony I use the hard top to hold on as well as the lip under the fly bridge all the way around I plan on painting underneath with nonskid. I worked on a hatteras and it was painted under there and gave a good grip when moving around.

Rick I do 25 knots at 2000 rpm’s cruise 30 knots at 2400. 38.7 was the best I saw wot at 3050rpm I know your engines are QSB but I believe they are close in Horse power. My props are 21x24 L CUP Michigan hytrque. I will prob loose a little when I put the enclosure up. But for now it’s solid.

Cole the deck is original height. The thruhull you see on the stern is the deck drains. The hull sides were faired. The cleats are under the gunnel in the stern corners. Tony good luck getting a canvas guy in NJ they have to much work maybe I will learn to sew next!! I faired and painted the hull sides in the v berth on my boat. I did look into some other ideas just figured this would be easy to maintain.

So today I repaired the bow chock running lights. I bought perko bayonet sockets and some rubber gasket material. Had some left over fiberglass square stock 1/8” thick wall. The interior is all coosa from the cabin sole down. Some wood was used above the deck.The cabinets are sapele wood as well as all the framing for the bench. I put stainless steel on my cooler pull out they re pretty nice I will look and see if I can find where I got them. I second carls choice on mcmastercarr they are not cheap but have nice stuff!

Sorry Cam Lol!! I bought soft sand on Amazon the other day going to give a shot in a couple weeks hopefully. I would check wit awlgrip not sure about recounting non skid. I know some paints have an etching wash that can be used to avoid sanding. Did you use awlgrip with the sot sand as well?

I am looking to non skid the decks and there are so many options just wanted to see what has been used and how it performed? Was it east to apply? I used the awlgrip additive and it’s pretty nice. But I see this rubber stuff I think it’s called kiwi grip? I am sure there are lots of others as well.

I think Atlantic City isn’t a bad idea it’s a decent marina and definitely stuff to do. Not sure what the prices are but worth looking into.

Tony I use a porta potty and I like it never smells always clean and simple no holding tank. Coconuts I moved my head forward and used the old dash as part of the head I mounted a sink in there. I like it forward as it opens up the aft window for better view of the cockpit.

I went 1 3/4” shafts when i put in my Cummins 370’s and purchased new struts from Danny at Hightide and he bored them out for me he had them to me quickly. I have seen plenty of these guys bore out originals and get smaller diameter cutlass bearings and be fine with 1 1/2” shafts.

I glassed mine together from stem to stern both port and starboard sides first I filled all gaps with thickened epoxy or west system six ten then two layers of 7018. It made a huge difference no leaks.I am sure added strength to the seam.

Pete I was looking at that seat as well. It is a pricey little bugger I was going to call the port supply rep and get my pricing as well as check availability since it is a supply by vendor item some times it is hard to get. If I go with it I will have a friend make me a custom base.
