Re: Stringer and fuel tank questions
I would definitely clean that area up some more and take a deeper look. You can always make a repair to that area. I have also read one of Capt Pats posts stating that the wood inside the stringer was just a mold for the fiberglass. As far as tanks if your running diesel I like fiberglass tanks. A c...

Thanks Carl I am putting a section of hose between the transom and the muffler. I was going to run it hard but after some research I think the hose will help quiet down a little and take some rumble out.

Carl I agree about people will lean on it for sure. We will see how it works out. The slides lock in the closed ,half way out,and fully open positions. There is a lever on the end that must be depressed to open an close. They have a pair with a heavier rating if needed.

The slides are rated for 265lbs the cooler dry weighs 23 pounds it’s only a tundra 45. 10 pound bag of ice and 24 beers is 24 pounds around 57lbs total. Should be ok I hope if not will make a nice tackle station.

The deck pitches aft. The level in the picture was used a straight edge. I followed the height of the original deck at the engine bulked to the bottom of the scuppers. As far as port to starboard it is flat.
