I did a fair amount of research on various Fridge/Freezer units and Air conditioners. The old school though is to have a generator for AC and have AC Fridge/Freezers and air conditioners. I decided to go the all DC route. I bought a Vitrifrigo DRW180A fridge/freezer unit (can run on 12/24 VDC and 12...

Thanks Tony,
It has been a heckva lot of work and cost but she'll be a really nice boat for what I'm going to be doing with it. Over the last 45 years I've come to despise center consoles. They ride rough and there is no way to stay dry.

BTW, here is the termite product that I used.
https://www.domyown.com/termidor-sc-p-184.html
There is also the same product in a spray can that injects foam into tight spots.
One word of caution, is that people with compromised immune systems may have a reaction to termite treatments.

I know every boat is different but what is your planing speed?
I'm considering some hull modifications to lower my planing speed as much as possible along with oversized trim tabs. I need to plane my boat at 15 kts or less.

I did something similar except I used 1/2" coosa. I glassed both sides of the coosa then used a layer of glass to laminate it under the gunnel. I'm using stainless backing plates behind all of that.

Actually my guy was using the glass beads. Years of bottom paint, some epoxy painted over bottom paint. Bottom paint painted over barnacles! Best to get it down to the gel coat and start over with a good epoxy barrier coat. BTW, I wanted mine pitted so the epoxy will have something to bite.
