whats the word on the compounds sold by the paint companies to mix into the paint? I think awlgrip makes a "mild" and 'heavy" non-skid powder that you allegedly mix into the paint...and allegedly the paint gets absorbed into these small particles and makes a really tough non-skid...don't really know...

I have the same engines. there is one drain plug on the back of each side of the block. There is also 2 plugs on the bottom of each exhuast manifold...one in the front and one in the back. Interesting you mentioned the dust. I was in the shed tonight wiping down all of th parts with the proper solvents...at first i used paper towels, then cotton t-shirts that were dark grey...the grey helped me see where there was still white dust from the primer...and i just can't seem to get it all....
