Re: Calling Bob H. Can you talk about your exhaust configur
John, I used 6" fiberglass exhaust with centubular muffler, along with custom made surge tubes. The engines are Cummins 6bta 370s, sounds very sweet, I would skip the muffler if I did it again. I also pitched it gradually so virtually no water is in the pipes with the exception of the very end. The ...

John, I went with zf 220a. down angle 1.5:1 gear ratio, I did go with trolling valves. Make sure you put a BIG red light on dash so you or anyone else running boat won't smoke the gears when trolling valve is on. Hope this helps. BH

Re: B-31 Half Hull model

Plus the design of the mold makes pulling each part a little tough but doable. PM me with address so I can get a shipping q...

Chris,
A few slips down from my Dads Westwater was a boat owned by Tom Ireland a 38 he owned for many years I know he repowered with Cummins and took very good care of it. He passed away last year and I know the boat went up for sale. I know he stored it over at Brownells in Mattapoisett, Mass. BH

Cam, I followed Capt Pats lead, not a single screw holding them down. West epoxy with hi density/micro fiber mix kerf the backside. I do have about 9 rod holders through bolted with backing plates. So I do have some mechanical fasteners. BH http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj47/Westwater3/b31%20Ba...
