I just shot my hull with awlgrip, I used two quarts of color, mixed out to one gallon, I sprayed on 4 coats. Start VERY thin let it get tacky. Keep adding thin coats till coverage is just right.BH

The rail was first cleaned with wax & grease remover after installation, then scuffed with 220, awlprep wipe prior to priming with 545 awlgrip epoxy primer, second scuff with 320, second coat of primer, then red scotchbrite 400 to take shine off 2nd coat of primer,tape off, paint lower half of rail ...

Stephan, Most of my structural bulkheads were made of Okume plywood coated with epoxy, and 1708. Splicing in a new patch piece may be as labor intensive as ripping out and making a new rear bulkead. Cutting and glassing the entire bulkead out of the boat on a flat horizontal surface is much easier. ...

Frank, I agree with Capt Pat about boat handling and angler, mate, captain communication when fish is boatside. If you do alot of drift fishing the platform may cause alot of splashing when rolling back n forth, Ive seen many a big shark tied off to a swim platform in the tournaments we've been in. ...
