Scott, to stiffen up the Bahia Mar wind screen I laminated 3/4 foam sheets then glassed them in place. Really made a big difference when I glassed the cabin/hardtop in place. Capt Pats rudders worked just fine on Resolute, no slip at high speed turns at all, Vince's rudders lose bite by hanging behind transom, Jp nailed it with fixed tabs..easier than moving rudders forward 5" ouch..BH

Capt Pat one of my favorite tips love the simplicity of the design. My fish boxes will be the first redo of Resolute. Hatch openings are way to small for all but bass n blues, I plan on killing a few tuna and those fish boxes are the ticket. BH

Joe, Find a spot that gives you the best place to raise and lower the riggers when it gets snotty, big backing pads and position the riggers so the tips of the poles just meet the transom..I had JP help with the layout of my riggers, get a few helpers, hold the poles and bases where u think they sho...

I bought the parts for "Resolute" restoration from Tom @ Ocean Innovations, deck, v berth, bathroom, helm etc., he showed me the Papa John 31, liked everything but the windshield. Yes the deck has to come off to put them in, a giant PITA..but well worth the effort IMHO..Tom was great to work with.. BH

Ian, I like the look, when I mocked up my cabin the original design gave me the angle I needed to make it look just right, look at the bow rake with an angle gauge, flip the angle and there is your new port hole angle. Keep up the new look. BH

John, Also modified the water pump base flange that bolts to the engine. Took a grinder to both and have no problems changing pump or impeller, ask me how I know..BH

Capt Pat, When I use my Ipad I seem to have more trouble posting a reply. I tried three times tonight and couldt get the reply to stick, when i hit submit or preview I seem to get logged off. On my PC now lets see if this works. Buju described it alot better than I did. BH
