It seems the quality degraded when uploaded to Utube. Not sure what a class 4 is but I'm using a Sandisk Extreme HD. 30MB/second.

Steve, before the satellite issues, Globalstar was great for me from the Gulf to Panama to mid pacific. If they return close to that, its a great service and considerably cheaper than Iridium. I prefer the Iridium's sound and clarity over the good Globalstar but certainly that's bound to change.

Globalstar had some satellite issues for a couple of years and they forced me to change. I've had Iridium for 18 months and it has never failed me. I use it to check in and make sure my picks get registered. Hope I never have to use it for more than that.-T
