Like that windshield, much better look than the original and more functional to, I am trying to decide if I want to go back with a windshield or just an enclosure. If you don't mind me asking who did it and the approximate $$$.
Thanks Bill

Initial Fairing
Capt Pat, What is your choice of fairing compound for the first few rounds. Do you like the awlfair or regular epoxy with the low or high density filler. I have sanded the gel coat down to a solid surface. I think I read in a previous post about sanding it down to an almost paper thin coating, is th...

Thanks Bruce
Bruce,
Thanks for the info, I may call or have my boatyard call. The more I look at the Qsb's they seem to be cost prohibitive.

Anybody have thoughts on this motor. I thought I was all set with the Cummins Qsb's, but want to make sure I cover all the bases. Price is a big factor and one installer I am talking to can get Volvos at OEM pricing for a refit, but gets dealer pricing for the Cummins. I think Cummins has some polic...

Rodger, Looks Awsome, Those older pictures reseble the stage I am in now. If you have the molds, are you planning on producing any of the parts for sale. I have the Whitaker decks and regular engine boxes which I think are from the same molds as the Cabreras. I would be interested in the forward dec...

Bahia Mar Windshield
I have one, off the boat, glass is cracked. Was going to have them build one for me in the future, but I can get it to them nowif it helps you out. I do like the look of the side pieces that extend further back than the stock windshield. Email me or call me on my cell if you need to. 704-806-3085.

Cabin Door Dimensions
I'm getting ready to make the cut out for the cabin door in the new main bulkhead. I know there was a post at one point about the exact size but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone have the dimensions handy, would be a big help.

Anguilla is good, we stayed a Cap Juluca, have heard great things about Cusinart. I also fished with the Carty's on their B-31, ggod trip wahoo and dolphin. Great place for the ladies regarding the beaches. Fishing is good, more focused on meat becuase the sell what they catch. Great all around vaca...

Got a sample of the durabak without the non skid additive in it. Was planning on using in the anchor locker and painting the interior ceiling instead of putting a headliner or vinyl back in.

Ruder Shelf Placement
Getting ready to fit the rough cut rudder shelf into place and was originally going to run it from top of the out side stringer to top of outside stringer. Is it preferable to run in between the stringers about midway down or does it matter. Plan on using Capt Pats rudders and was wondering if the s...

Epoxy Primer
Is there a big difference between the interlux epoxy primer and the Awlgrip 545. The interlux seems to be available at more retailers which makes it easier to pick up small batches for parts priming etc.
