Re: Engine zincs
Yannis Thanks for the idea. This season when I change the antifreeze I am going to put the old in a container as you suggest and let it sit. This will let me know if I am having any corrosion or rust issues with these engines. Again thanks for the follow up and your insight. Hope you have a safe and...

Amberjack and Yannis Thanks so much for the reply and the information. I checked with the service department who did the last servicing in May 2018. Is your generator a Mase the 3.5 Kw? What year did you install? have you had any problems with it ? About how many hours do you have on the generator? I assume you would purchase again when it is time to replace.
thanks for your comments

I was led to believe that the std. engine would have to be removed. From the comments so far that does not seem to be the case. Also my Mase is in a sound softening or reducing enclosure.

Thanks for the responses. I have decided to purchase a new turbo. Everyone was on target as the price is just under 3 thousand. proper spacing of bunks for a boat lift
I am installing a High Tide Topless boat lift. Because of the deep v of the hull Hi Tide fabricated an 8" spacer. The question is how far apart should the bunks be for proper positioning on the lift. Has anyone had any experience with this. I have had several opinions but no consensus. thanks john
