Back to the original question of getting the glue off the cabins sides & roof--I had a fiberglass guy tell me that the fastest way is to use a power washer with a sand blasting attachment. I haven't tried it but sounded plausible.

in my B-25 on the trailer the low spot is up between the v-berths. I am adding a drain plug there where the head water intake was. Otherwise I end up with about 35 gallons there quickly.

On my B-25 I am adding a garboard drain up front where the head water intake was as that is a low spot when on the trailer. To get the water to drain from there I have to tilt the front of the boat way way up.

There is someone on THT that is doing the hole drill method with a water based glue (gorilla?) and they are claiming excellent results to the point when later doing the deconstruction it is hard to get it apart. Would be worth a quick search over there if that is the route you are headed.

Is he motor at a running attitude? I ask because that looks like too much bow down trim to me. Height does not look like it is crazy off to me. Nice looking motor. Have you put a straightedge on the last 4 feet of the bottom to look for irregularities and hooks?

Thanks for the tips! Any idea where to get a tank pressure tested? Radiator shop would be one place or you could try it yourself with a shop vac (backwards) and soapy water in a sprayer bottle. You won't get 3 psi but you won't damage the tank either. Just don't use any tools that create sparks (li...

Re: B25 New Trailer. I have narrowed it down to 3 choices
I went through the trailer dilemma when I bought my Bertram in Maine (I live in Georgia). Ended up buying a Seal Lion trailer with a 7000+ capacity for around $3500 new. I was having trouble finding a used trailer for $2500 that would not need 1K to go the 1200 miles. Anyway the Sea Lion is a reason...

I am with Capt. Bone. I have owned one or more boats continuously for 50+ years. I am currently in the middle of a B-25 project. In fact I am waiting on two new fuel tanks to be shipped to me at roughly $700 per x 2. I am doing an OB conversion of the 25' and I am shorting up the engine box at the rear to be a seat with bilge access. That will really enlarge the deck and open up the rear of the boat. Interesting running gear-- the props do not appear to be counter-rotating and they are closer together than a normal inboard. Also those "K-Planes" are massive. That is no joke on needing tires--they are shredded sitting still!
