I like the way he cut down the engine cover leaves bilge access for pumps batterey's.

Congrats on your new boat.
I have a b26 with twin 470'S with alpha 1 mercruiser legs, the counter rotation is the port leg.
I was sceptical about the 470's but I have found them great runners.
There are still parts avalable and a rebuilt long block can be purchased for $2600.00us.

thats too bad about the engine.
I was dropping off my daughter inlaw off at langdale terminal that has to be your boat anchored
there boat looks good.

The crazing almost looks like a tecture job gone bad I have never seen crazing like that, usually from impact,flexing or stress points.

Corey I am with Joseph better to have a usable work in progress then a pretty piece of yard art. Start with structural pull the legs repair the transom check stringers repair if needed and install fuel tank. You need to figure out your power before controlls as most outboards have specific controls....

To give the hatch some strengh you would have to glass in a couple of pieces of 1" x 2" just like stringers. You have a great looking b25 I talked to the seller last summer at that time he didn't think the trailer would make it to Canada and to costly to ship both trailer and boat on a lowbed. Glad ...

I have put just under 100 hrs on and only 2 failures , developed a coolant leak between the riser resovoir and the exhaust manifold heli coils in the manifold failed . Your boat looks awsome, how did you manage to do the bow and both sides without getting a dry edge?
Results like that I couldn't begin to calculate the hours you put in filling, fairing and sanding.

John Angel 111 is now Canadian got the registration yesterday. Both engines are both running great starboard was tough to start but half a tank of fresh gas and it runs like a top. Three Weeks ago I recieved my B26 fbc bought it from BC Bertie.
After 8 days on the hard the boat is now in the water in Gibsons BC .
