Quick Question for you LP 315 owners: What inch exhaust do you run out of transom. Looks like 4" at the turbo - do you run the same diameter the whole link or do you upgrade as you go on? One more for you - Are mufflers recommended?

The Rampage owner moved up to 370 hp. The lp 315's were on the boat diesel board for 1 day before we struck a deal. Keep your fingers crossed for me on this one.

Will Yanmar cover this repair under the extended warranty? What's the best way to research prior repairs or any other info on these engines: All I have is the serial Numbers 52099 and 52199. I bought them from a 3rd party who didn't have any records or maintenance info on them.

Eddy, Sorry for making you jump through hoops, but, I just sold the Yanmars this morning to a guy in Alabama. He showed up with $18k, loaded them up, and hit the road. Thanks God. Why did they discontinue the 315 LY? Do you prefer it over the LP? Don't mean to pick your brain so much, I'm trying to make the right decision, and, for living in such a big city like I do, the local knowledge seems limited.
