Bob, Alot of my neighbors have blown out their bulkheads by washing them out with the prop wash. I guess by pulling them in bow first, it keeps the props away from the bulkhead...i don't know if it's something to do with our Tx mud, but it works. I don't know of anyone out here who has been ticketed...

What's the best way to lift a 31 ?

Greetings,
We need to lift Reel Cowboy up about 5" off of the trailer, so that the bunks can be adjusted. We don't have a travel lift available and she's not ready to be launched off of the trailer quite yet.

Dan, My whole cabin area including rear cabin bulkhead was removed and re-done. The sides above the v-berth and the head liner area were sanded and then built up with gel coat with ground up fiberglass mixed in. Alot of faring, and Wa La. I pretty much get the same comment when someone takes a look....

Thanks for responding. I called around and found out that Primex went oob about 2 months ago. I found a source for surge tubes finally, and am taking everyone's advice and will get them installed. I'm still wondering about the mufflers though.

I had the front cabin overhead hatch cut out glassed over and was wondering if that area is a flat surface or slightly rounded? I just can't remember...getting old or something. I know that it was glassed to match the surrounding area.

Per IRGuy's comments, I'm gonna try the Yanmar 315's with 1.5 to 1 gears and 1 3/8" shafts with 19x2o 4 bladed props in a very light bahia mar. I had the same shafts and props with the Yanmar 170's with 2 to 1 gears. Don't know if I could have bored the struts out again to accept the 1.5" shats cons...
