J, Pam said the boat looks fantastic! I've been talking to Carl and he's been keeping me updated. There was a post a year ago or so that was titled "baha mar project", bahia was mispelled so keep this in mind when doing a sourch. Anyways, Noe, a neighbor of mind built that windshield of cussa board....

Bob, Alot of my neighbors have blown out their bulkheads by washing them out with the prop wash. I guess by pulling them in bow first, it keeps the props away from the bulkhead...i don't know if it's something to do with our Tx mud, but it works. I don't know of anyone out here who has been ticketed...

Sam, I just got back from Freeport, and, yes, I went with the lp 315's with ZF 220a's with 1.5 ratio...will see what she'll do in a few months. I'm with Scott on the bow rail issue. Bob, here in Tx, most of us anchor up like you do, but the bow rail works well when casting on a weedline or snapper/ ...

SPrater, There's a guy named Moffet...I forget his first name, but, he lives in Freeport Tx a mile or so from me. Anyway, he owns a flybridge with full tower powered by 370's. Boats name is "Bullet". From what I hear, she'll haul ass with no dipping in the bow. I talked with one of his buddies last ...

We're not talking about your extensive boat knowledge....We're talking about your bartending skills! The Fire Fly/Crystal Light is incredible...no carbs either. I just bought a bottle of Bacardi...I guess that I'll slip it to someone for Christmas.
Much thanks and keep the recipes coming.

What's the best way to lift a 31 ?
Greetings,
We need to lift Reel Cowboy up about 5" off of the trailer, so that the bunks can be adjusted. We don't have a travel lift available and she's not ready to be launched off of the trailer quite yet.
Thanks for the help.

Dan, My whole cabin area including rear cabin bulkhead was removed and re-done. The sides above the v-berth and the head liner area were sanded and then built up with gel coat with ground up fiberglass mixed in. Alot of faring, and Wa La. I pretty much get the same comment when someone takes a look....

OK, dammit. I'll go with the stinking tower. You guys twisted my arm. I just talked to the welder and he's on board. He's thinking of a double hooped soft top and top station being about 1' above that. No one that I know of can make a pretty molded fiberglass hard top with the nice rolled edges in m...

outriggers and tops
after much debate, we decided to go with a soft top and radar arch combo. We know that a tower would probably look much better, but, it won't get much use for our fishing and trailering needs. Question is, is there any preference on which brand riggers to use on the soft top? Taco, Top Guns, Side Wi...

Mike, I was kinda hoping that a muffler might have baffles which would keep water from climbing up the exhaust...and also keeping the noise down..hopefully, killing two birds with one stone. I'm having trouble figuring out the surge tubes. . considering that the exhaust is already in place and the e...

Mufflers or not
Should they be used with the 315 lp's ? Can they be used in place of surge tubes to keep water from coming up the exhaust? If so, what brand should be purchased?
Many thanks.

Jason, owner of Milleneum, is great on the aluminum work, but, I don't think that he's big on hooking up electronics. Tops and Towers, also known as Tops and Robbers, do nice aluminum and canvas work, if money isn't an issue. There's a guy named Pat in the Freeport area that's built T-tops for sever...

Gentlemen,
I had the front cabin overhead hatch cut out glassed over and was wondering if that area is a flat surface or slightly rounded? I just can't remember...getting old or something. I know that it was glassed to match the surrounding area.
Much thanks.
