Tony-I had it done by a marine glass professional. They removed the old plexi sliders, undid the bracket in the upper forward corner then removed the old fasteners and took the frame out. I don’t know if that open corner is original design or if it was cut in later to allow replacement of the glass....

If you pick a stainless roller long enough, you don't need to construct a pulpit. You need to make sure,however, that the roller sits on a flat surface. Rick, your pulpit looks fine. Furthermore it looks much better than your back X-ray would look after pulling a 90 lb mess of anchor chain, anchor, mud and kelp like I did a few years ago. I installed my pulpit after my incident. You are smart enough to install yours before.
