Depends on where you are. Down here in the South 12K min., 16K is better. I have 12 with a glassed in front and solid side windows and its adequate, but if the 12K Cruisaire goes out a 16 will replace it.

If they are 250 hp 4BTAs they are rated at 3000 and should be propped to turn just over that, say 3050-3100 at full load WOT.
