The cork-looking stuff on the underside of my Glass Tech hatches is shot and the hatches rattle. Other than trying to fool with Glass Tech (very unresponsive to say the least) anyone have ideas on what to glue on the backs to keep the rattle down? Dug, not as loud as the Detroit 4-53s, but the 504s are not a good engine for todays B31 with much better diesels out there that can replace them for not as much money as some think. The crossover pipes between the V-8 cylinder banks on the 504s rust out and the engines have to be removed to change ...

Phil, probably a 71. The federal Safe Boating Act that took effect in Nov. of 72 required that the hull # be impressed in the upper part of the transom outside on the stb. side. Before that, all boats had a hull # wherever they wanted to put it. Most of our pre-11-72 boats had the hull # written in ...

Dave - there is no interlock, they just don't want you running it dry for any period of time since the pump is cooled by the water going thru it. A fuel gague works by passing a small amp 12v DC current thru the sender unit, which is nothing but a variable resistor (some call it a reostat) that makes more reisstance (ohms) when the tank is full and less when the tank is empty.
