Capt. Pat advised me years ago to use Hammerrite smooth aluminum paint on my windows, I followed his advise and it held up great for years. It is now time to touch them up and It appears this paint is no longer available. Anyone have any advise on a similar substitute or have a source to get the ham...

Here are two 38s with the bulkhead removed. They both have removable izon glass. I loved the idea and wanted to do it on our 38 but my wife shot it down quickly. Good luck with the project.

I replaced mine with Azek, super easy project. I just use a “magic eraser” which gets most of the marks off without sanding.

That definitely would be a legendary trip. I’m sure there would be plenty of fish caught on the way. We are hoping for good weather next week and a fun inaugural West coast rendezvous. Right now we have 27 boats signed up including 10 31s!

Yannis, I second Carl’s comment about the Kiwi grip, we did it on our racing sailboat and it’s killer because you can make it have as much or as little traction as you want. Brian, best thing to do is remove them from the hatches, take them to a polishing shop ( there will be quite a few if you google in your area, often custom powder coat places also polish) and then have then anodized again. Yannis, If you put a strainer on the discharge side of the shower drain pre bilge pump it would collect everything that could potentially get caught in your bilge pump and later on in your check valve. WOW that sounds pretty impressive and a huge undertaking. To put all the batteries dead center did you move the floor upright supports outboard, or did they fit inside that and act like a step as you go into the engine room?

You are correct 6BTAs 370Hp with Twin Disc MG 5055A trasnnies. Very happy with them so far, wide open (3100) she will do 28 knots.
