Yannis, I have been looking at the numbers. Agreed, this boat with transport, certificates and electric conversion etc will be out of my budget. And then I get to worry about the Mitsubishis... Nice boat but too much. Hopefully someone knows of one for sale, and one comes much much closer.

Re: Question for the Cummins guys
Thanks for the replies guys.
Raleigh, i have not run the boat with air filters removed.
Frank, I cannot make 2700 rpm on either engine. now that I think about it, max rpm is 2650 on starboard, 2550 on port.

Please no. Seriously though, not sure what shaft length you would get. Bow rail needs to be cut. Thrust? I run a minnkota riptide Ipilot on my fishing skiff, a Maritime skiff 1690. It is glorious.Ive seen a few on some Grady's, maybe 25 ft. Never saw one on a Bertram. Honestly, shaft length would be...

We were most definitely not into 40-50 lb bass this day....we were however into thousands of 24-28 inch bass....acres and acres of it.. No pics, but heres a video my buddy made, I'm the fly guy in the red hat. At the very end, you'll see a glimpse...a silhouette... of Wits End. https://www.youtube.c...

Re: Under contract!!!!!
Congratulations. I have a 1971 FBC with twin 1998 cummins 6bts 210/220 hp. I cruise 20 -22 knots all day at 2000-2100rpm, WOT 28knts at 2600rpm (she is a very light boat, no tower or additional weight throughout). Great combo, and good luck.

Hi Carl, I haven't posted much on the forum, I guess I really don't have much to offer. Many of the members here are so knowledgeable about their boats, engines, etc...me not so much...but I'm learning every day. I have a 1970 31 FBC, powered by twin 1996 Cummins 210 6Bt's. Gear are twin disc MG 501...

Recommendations for Cummins mechanic on Long Island
Hi, Fellas, I lost my diesel mechanic 3 years ago, and have been neglecting the upkeep on my 210 hp Cummins 6BT's on my 31. I am located in Port Washington, New York. I know the engines are bulletproof and relatively simple; I'll be honest, I don't have the time or know how of a thorough going over....

Agreed on bonito and allbes this time of year. Over here in Western Sound (port Washington)I've had them each year the last 5 years, mid Sept through end Oct, depending on bait source (which this year is BOOMING..rain bait, peanuts, spearing, etc). On fly, use tan or charteuse surf candy, on spin us...

Hi Dug,
If the windows are still available, I am interested if Ron doesn't need them. My front glass is cracked on my newly acquired 31. I can be reached at 917-692-8343.
Thanks,
Ron Restivo
