It's paint, not chrome. Your painting, not chroming. Chrome is very hard and durable, paint is paint. In the video the guy scratches the helmet easily with a screwdriver. The prep was also made to look easy...somehow I believe the base finish dictates the end result. Whatever...it does look great.

First, I am not for changing the Strut and rudder location just to make it fit. I am saying good performing boats have used transom-mounted rudders, but those were designed that way OR redesigned that way as Elite marine has done on their 31 Bertram Refits. Change where the prop wash hits the rudder...

John, I don't recall if you went Cummins 6BT or with the Hyundai's. In either case exhaust looks great. Schedule 40 is very heavy for exhaust. If you use, make sure to add supports to carry the weight instead of hanging off turbo.

Gearboxs are not as cheap as oil, my suggestion is to call an Authorized ZF dealer and ask them. Its the cost of a phone call. Best answer, they say not a problem, the worst answer you have to change your fluid. If they are unsure...my suggestion is you change the fluid. I say this as moving forward...
