Let me know how you make out with the clear product. I'd guess its the line of Epoxy's they offer. My reservation with clear be it filler, epoxy or otherwise, is that it's a layer that light can play with making it look different. The other is it's soft so if scuffed, it scratches, and hazes making ...

If you have an eagle eye and side for perfection, you would have to replace with new or remove it all, have welded and ground then re-anodize finish. My guess is the time and money spent on the 2nd option is more than cost of new. Options- The rails are heavy enough to grind, sand and finish with a ...

Aquamet and Aqualoy are brand names from 2 companies that produce boat shafting, that's the "A" part of A17 A19 A22 The A-17 is the strongest of the basic three and the least corrosion-resistant. A22 is more corrosion-resistant than A19 with similar strength. In saltwater A19 can hold up well, provided the boat is not left idle for long periods in still water, especially still warm water. In tight spots where water does not flow around the shaft, such as the cutless bearing, shaft seal, and ...

Yannis-
When perfection is created, manufacturing is kept at limited quantities.
Nope, no 28 Bertrams in the marinas around me that I know of...but then again it's hard to tell as it kinda looks like alot of other boats. You know, nothing distinctive like the 31.

If you lube the cutless, avoid petroleum products as they can react with the neoprene rubber. Often the rubber will swell n harden locking the shaft in place is what I’ve experienced.
