Don't forget to have your cutting torch on board so when those birds start swinging through the air, you can climb the outriggers and cut the chains free while pitching about in 30 foot seas. Hi Jim: I have a friend up here who is looking for a place to dock his boat for the winter down your way. Chris: Do you have personal liability coverage as well? The reason I ask is my carrier, Liberty Mutual, insures my house, car and boat. I took out a million dollar personal liability policy with them and my premiums overall dropped by over $500 -- and the personal liability policy is only $246. Tom

Just as an FYI, the guy the owns/runs the Finest Kind has two Bertram Charterboats as well -- a 35 -- Reel Hooker, and a 31 -- Exact. All three boats operate out of Lahaina Harbor.
Where are you staying on both islands? I can make some recommendatinons if you haven't been there before.

Have any of you guys seen the Great White lurking off of Shinnecock? I've seen reports on Noreast pushing the shark to 30' with an estimated weight of 3,000lbs plus. I know that has to be an exaggeration. Last year we saw a White of about 18' maybe 20 miles south of Montauk -- must be same fish. Tom

Congrats - how many Berts in the collection now?
