I melt a stick of butter, add the juice of one lemon and a couple of chopped chives, then I use a brush and slather it all over the tuna steak, sea salt and fresh cracked pepper. I drop it on the grill for 30 seconds per side one the coals are red hot.

Serve with ice cold beer and I am a happy boy.

In addition to extra lines -- especially spring lines -- I always put the big orange anchor balls around the boat. Might have done nothing more than humor me, but the thought of several large polyballs on each side and stern at least made me feel good!

Me too! There are worse things than being stranded at the beach house with only a bicycle to use on vacation. Since a prior stop included both groceries and package store, there was no need for a vehicle. I wonder -- does your marina have a webcam? Maybe you are on Youtube and don't know it!

On Maui I highly recommend Finest Kind -- any of their boats, but that 37 Merritt put us onto 4 Blue Marlin releases, one of which was a triple header release!!! They have a 31 Bertram too!

As noted on FB - I ate a delicious Mako on the 4th that was caught on the 2nd. Fish went 160, as verified by scale and the marine biologist that caught it, and it was in sight of a certain island you know and love.

Air is optional for Yanmars, Japan thinks of everything!

That is a Fantasy25 -- I believe they have 2 boats they have built, definitely not for the shy of price. It appears you would need a full-time caretaker to deal with all the brightwork. Although, at that price, you probably have a boatshed to store her in.

I had big four blades with diesels and the "high speed" rudders on my B31 - I couldn't steer straight with only one even with the wheel hard over, so I did the bump in and out of gear trick. I could and did troll at 2kts for Stripers using that technique.

I had the problem Walter referred to -- clamp wasn't tight enough and temp ran a little hot. Replaced the worn clamps and cooled right back to termostat operating temperature.
