14,000lbs with Yanmars? My 31 only weighed 12+- and I had heavy Volvos in it. I think the numbers are fudged, that boat should be faster and lighter -- quite a bit of both.

My dad was a Navy Pilot - career man -- thanks for the wonderful memories. He passed away 22 years ago, but I proudly display a lot of his memorabilia.

In my basement I have a full set of TomCat stickers - nice memories of him with all of his woodworking tools!

That must be one of the last Potter built Seacrafts -- I have a friend that has a cherry 23 (1976) that rides like a dream. I've tried to buy it several times, he won't part with it. The non Potter boats are not that desirable and suffer from serious woodrot both in transom and stringers.
