Peter, I've been using it in the marine environment, and it works fairly well, but I've had some problems with the accuracy of the internal GPS while offshore out of sight of cell towers. It usually happens while moving, so maybe it's loosing lock on the satellites. Also, I'm using this on an iPhon...

I had some left over from the bottom job, so I decided if it was good enough for the bottom, it was good enough for the bilge -- Interprotect 2000 -- and then decided I hated having a grey bilge and shot some Brightside over that. The last I saw of it, it was still in there and shiney white!

Beautiful puppy. My black lab was the better choice I made -- he's the same weight as my ex, but he's smarter, more affectionate, more loyal, and doesn't snore as loud! Can't keep mine out of the water -- unless it involves a fresh water shower.

In my case, skinned knuckles, a lot of bourbon and Advil. Seriously, nothing more than a bunch of labor on your part. Did you sand/grind/fill and fair yet? With the engines out, it made a HUGE difference not only in appearance but in the function -- nothing stuck in cracks/grooves -- my knuckles no longer got skinned by a rough spot when a tool slipped (as if that ever happens, right?"

My old marina gladly collected all used motor oil in a large, I think 270 gallon container -- I think they they ran it through a a device that converted it to heat. Yup, the primary means of heating the clubhouse and shop == used motor oil!

Shouldn't Thudddd be commenting here? If anyone had experience with oilpainting, his motors certainly added a certain hue to not only the engine room, but they were quite capable of painting the transom as well as any other vessel within 100 yards.

I did similar to John except I used Brightside, in God forbid, Hatteras White. The only hard part was not leaning into wet parts while I was painting new areas. It looked great 4 years later and cleaned up easily.

The only thing more cumbersome would be the aft cabin version. Somebody at my dock had a high 30s or low 40s Cruisers Inc. aft cabin -- there was no way you could see the stern and the bow was laid out like this. Probably a nice waterfront condo, but I'm not taking it out to sea.
