I don't own a 31, but my family did as a teen and I've been in love with them since. Thanks to Capt. Pat, Bruce, and the rest of everyone on this site I have been able to continue my affair with this boat since this site started. I have followed the posts, drooled over photos, and used some advice o...

Re: 18' or so center console boat recommendationso

I just moved up last summer from a 15 whaler to a 19 mako. For kid use I'd definitely go with the 15-17 whaler. My mako would be too much boat for a kid. Can't speak to a 17 mako. Starboard question

I have a question for you guys about starboard. I want to replace the black gauge panel on my 19 mako. Was thinking of going with black 1/4" starboard. I am concerned with direct sunlight warping the starboard. It will be the stock size, 12"x8", will have 4 gauges and a blue seas 8 pole switch panel...

Re: Another stupid criminal!!

We lost a local icon this weekend, who could be a runner up. Beyond intentionally crapping his pants as we cuffed and put him the car in an attempt to be released, my all time favorite was when he smashed the electric meters. He lived in a trailer park, where multiple meters were attached to a woode...

Advice on aluminum railings

Hi guys,

I sold my 15 whaler and picked up a '98 19' mako. Boat is in like new condition, except the aluminum bow and console rails. They aren't really pitted, but could use some tlc. Is it the CX I've seen you all talking about?

Thanks,

Greg

Re: FOUND!!!! MY FAMILIES 31 FROM MY CHILDHOOD!

Thanks guys. I have no intention to buy her, right now finances and time to commit to the boat are now available. I can only hope someone will get her for a decent price, and do a great resto without chopping her up, making her something she isnt. And I agree, he is WAY off with the price.

Re: FOUND!!!! MY FAMILIES 31 FROM MY CHILDHOOD!

So, I spoke with the seller of the Spring Fever. He said the reserve and asking price for the boat is 27k, but considering my attachment, he would let me have it for 19k. When I asked for more photos and a description of the hull, engines, and what happened to her, he said he did not know. Said she ...

John, The standard 23 holds 13 in the mag, 1 in the pipe. They by far at not as pretty as MANY other guns out there, but for cost/reliability they are hard to beat. I particularly don't like the sub compacts (27), which I have. We used to carry the full size 22 .40, that's when I bought a 23 for off...

We looked at the FN P90 subguns for work, as the firearms instructor, I declined. Uses the same ammo as in the Five 7 pistol, which is WAY expensive, and HARD TO COME BY, at that time, only purchased through FN. They also penetrate too far, too much liability. We carry Glock 23's, .40cal and went wi...
