My guess would be a broken injector tip. Happened to me on Detroit and about 10 minutes of idling put a lot of fuel into the pan.

Ray, I forgot to tell you I have the 1.5 ratio. Bone stock running gear. The MO256K43 has 250 Hp and 450 torque. The MO256H45 has 250 HP and 500 torque. 25K! I suppose if you can get the yanmars for a lot less and you have someone to service them. I am going on year 5 with oil changes and impellers. I have a service manual if I need it but so far so good. I made the leap and do not regret it. Do your homework.
