I am not sure if this will work but I we can try. Go to this link and download the software. I am trying to find a way to save one so I can put it in an email...

Bruce, Darn good explanation. It makes sense but now I am not even sure what type of system I have with out looking at the manual. One electric pump which I believe pulls fuel from tank. Then it goes to mechanical pump? I always enjoy reading these threads because I get to learn so much. Hopefully K...

Ray, I forgot to tell you I have the 1.5 ratio. Bone stock running gear. The MO256K43 has 250 Hp and 450 torque. The MO256H45 has 250 HP and 500 torque. The variation in power is due to the turbo style and size. KKK Vs Holset I think. My old MO236K43 are 212 HP and around 350 torque if my memory ser...

All valid points, especially with parts and support. I spent a great deal of time researching before I made the purchase. What I found was, just as Bruce said, they are not a new company nor is the concept of the Mono block new. The more I read the more I realized I was ignorant because at one time ...

Pair of Steyrs
This pair seems like a pretty good deal. If you are running ZF 63 gears and wanting to make the switch here is your chance. Integrated Flywheel generator is not cheap either. I am sure Bruce can verify this. Wish I had them. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300455050749&...

Sean, That is very noticable. I was able to run a few boats from the factory in that speed range. I do not remember losing more than 3 knots after the bottom paint was added. This was about 8 years ago........memory might be off a bit. Bottom painting around here is about 1000 for a decent job. Ten ...

Bottom paint Vs Gel coat
I have always wondered if there is a noticable diffence in our Bertrams cruising speed when the bottom paint is removed and new gel coat is put on. I have seen the difference in 50kt go fast type hulls but never ours. Guess I have been dreaming about storage on a boat lift instead of in the water. W...

Lots of good comparisons. http://www.yachtworld.com/core/listing/advancedSearch.jsp The prices for the year you are looking at vary from the teens to the 70K range. I have had no problems with mine. I change the fluid and filter every winter. That equates to less than 100 hours per year for me. Never seen any shavings. I have the ZF45 8 degree down angles in mine and they fit no problem. I did have to raise the hatches though. Fuel tanks for cheap
Guys, West Marine is moving into a super store here in Marathon. Walter, You would have to have a rod in your hand to be fishing. The line would have to be in the water. The guy gaurding the cooler drinking beer would not need a license, even if he were sitting next to a rod with a line in the water. In FL kids under 16 do not need them and folks over 65 do not n...

Mike, If you boost a gas engine the fuel consumption goes through the roof. A car at cruise speed on the highway is not under boost untill you put the hammer down. I believe a boat is always under load. I think that would be like never taking your foot off the gas in the porche. Those V blocks would...
