I did not know that. So in a nuthsell, AP is ok in a long gun whether it is a .50 cal or 5.56? But the pair of guns tht shoot the same such as the FN's it is a no no to have AP around a pistol? Just want to make sure I understand it correctly. So many laws.

There may be confusion with the designation of the rounds. Any 5.7 round should tear through soft body armor. If you are hearing a whine that would lead me to believe the cutlass bearing. If it goes away with 100 rpm variation I would forget about it until there are more indicators. Those transmissions are tough and cheap to fix like already stated.

Crash pumps, now that is something I have not seen used in a long time. Does the PD pick up any flack for interfering with commercial salvage?

I remember the days when they tried to save boats but now there are too many lawsuits. Really gets my goat.

Duct tape will pull off Awlgrip from the primer. I know this becuase........I did the prep work on my paint job so I am not surprised. It is worth it in a worst case sceanrio when you do not have hinges on hatches though. Rain water adds up really fast.

5 days out when it was SE of PR all tracks were to the Keys. Give it a day and it will change. They are not that good. When it is "2" days away they seem to be rather accurate, but 5 is a joke. I agree with you on that Vic! We bought a 7 cubic foot freezer to put next to it. We are getting the ice bags so we can bag a few and put them in the freezer. Not cost effective for me to run this machine all the time.

The fridge ice maker into a trash can is a pretty good idea.

I just got a used Manitowoc 450lb head unit with matching bin. Bought it from buddy who is heating and air guy. 1000 dollars. He will handle the repairs when needed. New they are really expensive. Having ice is so convenient. It is probably more than I need but what the heck, why not.
