Thanks. I'm most concerned with a place to lay up if it gets nasty offshore. Fuel is just another bit up the river and we're self contained for power. I'd prefer to duck into SP than spend the night in rough stuff on the chute.

Where's UV and Andre? One of those guys oughta have all the answers.

I ran a 28 with 180hp Yanmars for a couple of years and all I can tell you is that you're going to be the slowest boat ever created. You'll be lucky to get up on full plane with that little power and without tower and additional weight, I'd be surprised if you could get more than 13 knots. Mine had ...

That's awesome. I have a framed picture of the UV legal pad in the salon of Southern Breeze. It's actually the only picture I ever thought enough of to mount on a boat. This one, while perhaps not as sentimental to the B31/UVI4 crowd, is 100% awesome!

Lots of blood from a good tuna kill and those tiny scuppers weren't the problem. I killed many a tuna from one of those back when I was a kid. My job was usually to clean the bloody stench out of the bilges. Other than needing to keep the deck from draining blood into the bilge, I can't remember anything bad about the boat. Ours had gassers, but that was a long time ago.
