Interesting pump you have. Mine uses a G5 that I replaced the backs on so that the inlet and outlet come out the same side on.

I used POR 15 engine paint with good results. I also used their Whitecote in my engine bays. Very glossy and durable as well as easy to brush.

Or use the grid cut foam of the same thickness as the windshield for the flybridge radius and cut the windshield foam back to the inner fiberglass layer for about 2". Epoxy the radius to the "flange" made by the inner glass layer on the windshield and glass over the exterior and interior.

You may need to replace your oil coolers too. If your fluid is low that is the probable exit route. Lenco makes some nice cupro nickel replacements.

Pete: My experience with them has been exactly opposite of yours. Mine have the same manifolds on them that came on the original 413's. The 413's were replaced in the 1980's with the last of the original marine 440's. No real problems until I burned the piston.
