Re: Yanmar 4LHA STP oil pressure
A temporary jumper wire from the sender on the problem engine to the lead to the other gauge will tell you if it is the instrument or the sender/engine. I always put a threaded nipple and tee on the oil port so that I can attach a small mechanical gauge on one side and the sender on the other. I lik...

Faria makes an inexpensive one for gas. I don't know about diesels. Of course the old Glendenning automatic synchro's used to be the ticket on diesels.

Tony: I just added a pipe nipple and tee to the old bottom port and used that to feed the pumps from. I left a pipe plug in one side of the tee for a drain. My boat is in a boathouse so the bilge us usually dry and not a problem. If there is room up top I was thinking you could use a fuel tank type ...

Use a Dremel with a carbide burr to get the broken off part flush if needed. Center punch and use a left had drill on it. Go a little undersize and try to stay out of the threads if you are going to reuse the coupling.

Sorry, I cannot get to her right now. The hoses run from special oil plugs with a small sump in them. The pump is reversible and also puts the oil back in out of a large container. Pretty slick I think. I got a deal on it as a kit.

Sounds like a great plan! Refueling is your greatest risk for infection. Wear disposable gloves and a N95 mask. Don't let them get too close and slather up in soap or sanitizer when you leave the fuel dock.
