These guys fixed my Carter AFB's (same as Edelbrocks) right up!! Bolted them on five years ago and they started right up! They test run them and guarantee them for 6 months. I highly recommend them.

Mikey: I use two brooder house heater bulbs in clamp on reflecter fixtures with a thermostat going to a plug on the boathouse wall. Drop the electric cord down the rodholder and plug them in. Clamp them to one of the hoses and aim them at the side of the block. KISS and cheap! Has worked well for 40...

Why then do I have thicker gel coat and glass down the middle of the boat from stem to stern? The thickness in the middle of the transom seems like they put two pieces together.

If you could find another tank someone else took out you could section it and graft it in place. I cut a hole and installed a Beckson deckplate in mine so that I could give it a good cleaning occasionally. I think it is gelcoated inside.

Chrysler big blocks were 413s, then 440s. My 440s are 330HP. 413s probably 290-300HP. My 66 came with 413s and was repowered in the early 80's with 440s.

How about fabricating it out of two pieces of plate and having it welded together to form the angle? Any good metal fabricator should be able to bend it. I don't recall it being that complex, but I could be wrong.

my B31 was ordered unpainted and the bottom paint follows the actual waterline. The boot stripe still follows the spray rail. I think they look better that way. Same goes for a B28.
