Get a 3M mask with an organic vapor cartridge. It is not the same as forced air ventilation, but with the fan in the window it should be OK. You won't have to smell the paint that way. I find the smell of isocyanates in 2 part paint very annoying otherwise.

The Groco ball type seacocks are really nice! I have one of those and one Apollo. The Groco is nicer. Make sure that you use a real seacock which has the flange on the bottom and not just a valve on the stem of the thruhull.

On mine, which are original '66 vintage, they appear to have been fabricated out of aluminum T stock. They don't look hard to make with a bandsaw and a file if you can find the right size stock.

If you don't have friction stops, try small hose clamps around the cable to pinch the jacket some. Morse makes a special clamp that does the same thing.

I use 3 coats of Deks Ola #1 (glossy) bronze wooled between coats, followed by two coats of #2 (flat). I don't personally like the red color of Cetal. Also when it starts to go it looks like crap. Just my opinion.

Bottom line: Both are great engines and either would be good. 330 is generally considered a little too much HP for the boat without prop pockets.

I'm going over to look at them myself next week. I have a friend who may be interested if the price is right. I looked at the Cape Charles at the dock in Reedville this fall. It appears to be in much better shape than the earlier batch they sold.
