just had my boat surveyed and found that my battery charger is a 1980 guest charger and still going strong.i remounted it inside the engine box area but way up high and the port outboard side out of the element...as well as my newblue sea battery switches and bussmann series 185 100 amp breakers.......

well i finally got my boat surveyed today ,all went great no issues,except when i gave hime the id number.i told him that the boat was a 1971 .but when he looked on the title the hull id num reads DLZL00080989.so is my hull a 89 or a 71 ???any help ...because it makes a big difference on insurance.....

we used the blue silicone coragated on my exhaust and it is fairly stiff, but it will be some.got a lil kink on the flange outlet trying to make up to the glass tube but nothing bad. looks alot cleaner that the black hose also...not cheap........but well worth it ,,,

degrease let it dry wipe with denaturuated alchol and put 2-3 coats of epoxy with what ever color pigment you want .it will be there a long long time.just like ir guy said

i used cabosil and chopped glass to fill mine with .i had some pieces of fiber glass mat and i shreaded it up and added it to the epoxy , worked great,also added some strenght to the area as well

a few of mine were the same way, i duct taped a piece of waxed plexyglass on the underside of the gunnell really good ,also put a couple of short screws from under side also for security,coated inside of holder with unthickened epoxy first with small brush and let tack .then filled up the whole rod ...
