i am having someone paint the inside of mine,it's there job.i tried it once and it's hard .you need to put a fan in the v-berth hatch to suck out the fumes and spray mist,but i am having mine painted white inside and white outside,,,, will be finished tuesday or wednesday,,,, phil

alot of people use pvc foam board.i used 1/4'' underlayment.rolled at least 5 coats of thinned west on both side and ends totally sautrated it . then sanded smooth..primed and painted. the old one were 30 years old figured that was good for me ...

just my 2 cents , but you might wanna check the carb bowls also. get some sea foam spray and disconnect the fuel line in front of the carb and and spay it in the line in with carb in wot.( engine not running) let it set for 30 min - 1 hr. then start up . i use sea foam in all my gas tanks.it breaks ...

i just had some new window frames made for all the windows for the aft cabin made out of japanesse mahogany. do i need to seal them with thinned west or just spray several thinned coats of primmer on them so it soaks and seal -em real good ???

when attaching the dinet seats is it necessary to use 5200 on the back side of the mounting boards on the bulkheads ,thats the seats sit on?used #12 screws to mount the boards to the aft bulk head.

even if you think you got it all out it may have already damaged the cutlass inside. if the rope melted to the cutlass up inside and hardened it will create that hight pitch,,or you still might have some rope in the cutlass groves,,,melted .
