Better check to make sure it will fit thru the cabin door.

The frig that came in my 31 Express would not fit thru the door........I had to cut it up in the cabin to be able to remove it from the boat............what fun that was! ! ! !

I just made arrangments to have DeNada put on a trailer and brought to my shop on November 30........then I go into the distruction mode and prepare to repower and then mount a Brand New Spanking Bow Chock on DeNada's nose.

I think you may be refering to the "Spark Plug Gap"...........the distance between the electrode and the tang on the spark plug base (distance that the spark will jump)

Most spark plugs in those days are "Gapped" at .032" (32 thousanths of an inch)

I remember that Randall talked, in a recent post, about injesting water but his situation was related to backing down to hard.

A simple burnt or leaking valve or misfiring cylinder will cause the engine to suck water back into the cylinder.

As I understand it although my engines are rated at 300 HP since they are 970CPL I should prop them and treat them as though they are 250 HP.
