You should try to put Vise Grips on the screw driver to gain leverage. If the vise grips slip off of the screw driver shank put them on the handle....kinda screws up the handle but may be worth it If you have ample room in the Vee Berth area you could use a Nut Buster to split the nut............you...

Like I have always said Its absolutely amazing at what you can do with an old boat and a hundred thousand dollars.
