Stainless steel is about your only choice. In particular I would use Alloy 316 stainless.

If you can insulate the stainless fastener from the aluminum bracket you will keep corrosion to a minimum and I would certainly apply Tefgel to all of the fasteners.

I would think that it would be a matter of preference......pressure gage or temp gage............Personally I would prefer Temperature Gage.....

Its just that I think that the transmission is more likely to overheat due to a heat exchanger problem than it is to have a pressure problem.
