Not a thing that can/or should be done in the water. If your boat isn't painted and the lettering is in vinyl, you can remove it gently with a heat gun (but you don't have electricity). Oven cleaner will make it bubble off, but you will need water, and you're in as much a risk for a pollution ticket...

Originals were turned Chrome (that what you guys call it? ). My lower gauges are chrome rimmed Murphy gauges. When I repowered they replaced (traced) the piece on to white formica. Looks clean. Wished they had done the lower station on black formica instead of painting it.

I am pretty sure you'd want those strips adhered ongitudinally so as to be able to have any water down there run off when moving. Also, no need to adhere to bare aluminum that I know of.

Be careful- That boat without the weight most of us have on ours, going that fast could get hard/dangerous to manage. I'd also suggest Captain Patricks bigger rudders as I am sure you probably have the original small ones. Good luck. You have a very special model.

That's the first 31 Moppie model I have ever seen. Very interesting. Having always run a Sportsfisherman from the bridge, I wonder what it would be like behind that windshield. I'd recommend some sort of enclosure.

Most of the Norcold's can remove the front door but even then, you'll have to pick between the smallest ones to get through the door. Some have solved the problem by using the icebox interior and putting in a compresser/ice tray/etc in and under the sink.
