I also fished in Guatemala for them once and I must say the strike, the first run and the acrobatics of a lit up 100+ pound Pacific Sail on a fly is the highlight of my fishing career. You have to do it some day.

Peter-Next Fall, trail the flats boat out East. You can leave it at my house and come back and forth to it at Blitz time... I'm a flyrod nut, too, but find it difficult alone with the 31 in the midst of "the misquito fleet".

For starters, if you're smoking at idle, one or more of your injectors are not functioning to specs. Pull them all and have them tested. The anwer might be right there.
