No way in hell Charman would charge you anywhere close to that. I'm sure prices have gone up since May of 2003 but THEN the rebuild was $193.44 and the brand new K-19 was $269.59. Strangely, the NEW one started a slight leak in the fall of 2005 and they rebuilt it for me at NO charge. Walter

Good idea. The extra pickup could even be capped on the top of the tank. As long as you could have access to it for testing. As far as adding back the lost octane, would a shot of Octane Boost do it? Easy to buy and store.

Dug-Once you have sodablasted the hull, I would opt for the Barrier Coating. Not doing it after your bottom is all stripped down might project some later risk as you did have bottom repairs made. Given the way you take care of Alchemy, I wouldn't leave off the Barrier coat. My opinion. Walter

Vic- If you check the tackle shops, they sell a glue for knots. Very small bottle. The latest version has a little brush in the cap rather than a dropper type. It's a "crazy glue" for knots but the little built in brush is what makes it easier to handle for small applications. Walter

Inshore- monster Bluefish getting in the way of the Striped bass fishing. If the weather allows, the offshore boats have had a decent pick at the Canyons. Giants have been taken at the mud hole off Block Island on live Bluefish, porgies, etc.
