Been keeping up with your project on the B-25 site. You are REALLY doing a job of rebuilding it. Mine is doing it's job for me. A bit underpowered but what I could afford and what would fit ok. My dream was a D-3, but economics combined with the recession prevailed. Keep up the good work!

There's a beautiful 31 center console with outboards called "Targeted Species" if I am not mistaken, that I saw at one of the UVI's in Louisiana's Port Eads. Had a big Blue Marlin in the cockpit, and it wasn't it's first. It has been done and from all reports, it performs well and is a head turner.

Frank- Fuel at Montauk Marine Basin is presently at $3.29.9 a gallon. With 200 Gallons on board you will surely make it with plenty to spare. If you have any concern about return needs, you can take on a small amount there. Don't know how the price compares with diesel prices in Massapequa. Walter

Fred- I may have screwed up on the numbers- I am sure 5606 is probably correct. I will look at my gallon the next time I'm at the boat. The important thing is that these fluids are non-foaming so rogh seas have no effect on them.

Given 2 bad batteries, the charger would keep charging. Put in fresh fully charged ones and the charger should cycle on and off as needed. Given what we now know, the charger is the least of the suspects.
