I like the aluminum trailers just picked up a new 18000# for 6300.00 and bought a new aluminum one for my 24' for 2300.00 few years back.
The smaller trailer weighed about 900# less than the old wall strong trailer.

I have hung thousands of doors not marine residential and commercial and some industrial.

What kind of material is the door made of ?

I ask because when you mortise out the end of the door it can make them weak.

Question

I have a lot of carpentry work to do before i start glassing everything in.

Is there something i can use to seal the lumber as i shape it before glassing it that will keep the termites at bay till i can get the glass over the new lumber that the resin will adhere to ?
