Craig- The shafts in my gas powered 1972 FBC are 82 inches overall. That's from the front of the coupler at the transmission to the cotter pin hole at the prop nut and I have Spurs ahead of the props which add an inch or two. I would guess that you will no longer need your 11.5 inch extensions. Hope...

I think that is very close to what I get. I have 1989 carbureted Crusader 454s in a light FBC.
I do note that the props are stamped 18x18 but measure out to 17.5x17.
How I do love the rumble of those engines at lower RPMs and the howl above 3,500...

JimmyG Mine has a knee where yours is. The rudder tables are individual and do not go all the way to the outboard stringer.
